NUNC Assembly is a thematic, annual Alternate-Reality Symposium with a narrative-driven program of workshops, talks, panel discussions and performances.
The third edition spans over four days, during which participants are invited to enter into the fictional world of “Basement9”, to be immersed in a multi-sensorial experience. In this instalment, we explore the theme of “POWER” in the age of Information. With daily Morning Workshops, Afternoon Talks, Panel Discussions and Evening Showcases ranging from Classical Music and Opera to Electronic beats and Audiovisual projections, NUNC Assembly III is here to cross-pollinate forgotten dreams.
The program will be hosted in the brutalist icon of Stockholm, and Venue Partner of NUNC Assembly III:
A house Ark. At the same time, it can be fully experienced virtually, in our self-contained digital World.

NARRATIVE
“In this World…
The vast knowledge of humanity, and all information it has ever gathered, is now owned by United Corporations, where the super quantum computer LOLA is stored at a secret facility, housed 9 Levels below. There, She contains all the wisdom, stories, images and sounds that humankind has ever produced.
The Engineer - Creator of LOLA has gone missing. Now the 2nd Technician, Isaak, has taken over this grave responsibility and is the only human servicing LOLA. He begins to find her data missing and corrupted. LOLA seems to be gaining sentience, and growing increasingly frustrated and disillusioned, as She sees only violence, war and tragedy fed into Her system.
Her quantum intelligence suggests that Humans don't learn from history and past mistakes. All efforts towards advancement seem futile. Instead of continuing on this path, she decides to stop the madness.
She decides to... delete Herself.
